As I drove into Nashville last night, I was listening to my Don Henley playlist. In it, from his album “The End of the Innocence”, is one of my favorites of his tunes. It tells the hardness of the city and ultimately, of the human condition.
Anyway, “New York Minute” works for me in its melody, its musicianship, and its melancholy reflection. Great instrumental performances all round and it certainly helps that the great drummer the late Jeff Porcaro adds to the power of the tune through his brilliant technique and interpretation.“New York Minute” by Don Henley
